Summary The DIS Help Desk contractor will work with the DIS Help Desk Team receiving and assigning numerous phone calls each day. The primary deliverable for the role is to assist in a timely response to clients through phone and email communication. In addition, this role will be assigned daily work for various functions to support work request processing. The person will need to be comfortable approaching other members of the team for clarification and to build and act on an understanding of the processes used in the DIS applications. The expectation is that this person may gain enough knowledge about the DIS applications to eventually be able to provide application support and training as well.

Key Roles & Responsibilities Directly or through others, the incumbent:

Provide a friendly interface to DIS users

Document phone calls with appropriate information

Support the work request cancel processing

Support the ACIS invoice processing

Support the documentation and setup of new DIS user profiles

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements Education

High school diploma or equivalent, minimum



Experience

Inbound call center role with high volume

Customer service role

Electric utility experience is a plus

Training in adult based education is a plus



Skills

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Good analytical skills

Able to organize own work and work of others



Measures of Success

Satisfaction of help desk users

Time of response for handling incoming calls

Help Desk Team satisfaction with client phone call information

Help Desk Team satisfaction with assigned work
