•         Leadsthe monthly closing, financial reporting and analysis in a compressed 3 dayreporting schedule.

•         Analyzesand reports on budget vs actual expense performance

•         Assistswith the preparation of financial data for quarterly business unitpresentations

•         Developsforecasts and annual budgets consistent with company objectives.

•         Developbusiness analyses to help identify areas to improve financial performance andsupport business decision making. 

•         Participatesin the weekly cost productivity reviews and validates cost savings on aquarterly basis

•         Monitorsoperational activities for compliance with internal control procedures and SOXrequirements. Coordination of all external audit activities including timelyprovision of audit schedules as required.

•         Preparesdaily reports.

•         Overseesthe cost accounting activities to ensure the ongoing accuracy of product costinformation in an actual cost system. 

•         Reviewsthe inventory accuracy and monitors cycle count activity to ensure compliancewith stated policy.

•         Overseesall account reconciliations to ensure they completed on a timely basis

•         Overseesand directs the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

•         OverseesSr. Accountant position and responsible for developing into next level.

•         Responsiblefor the training and development of all members of the Accounting Team. 

•         Evaluatesthe Accounting Team workload and streamlines processes as required.

•         Assistswith system process improvements and upgrades.

•         Specialprojects as required.











Minimum of seven years experience inaccounting; at least three years in a management role. 


BS/BA in accounting or finance relatedfield. 

Public accounting experience preferred.

Strong PC spreadsheet skills, MS Word andExcel. 


Knowledge of Avante a plus.  Must have excellent written and oralcommunication skills; strong organizational and analytical

skills. 


Self motivated individual with excellenthands-on leadership skills. 


Manufacturing background required. 


CPA a plus.





A high profile and respected position which requires effective interaction with all levels within the Company plus provides leadership and hands-on management of the finance function in support of Company objectives. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to: Inventory Costing, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Daily Reporting, Business Analysis, Sox Compliance, and Audit Liason. Direct reports may include but not be limited to: Sr. Accountant, A/R, A/P and Payroll.
