Enterprise Engineer/Systems Administrator
Looking for an EnterpriseEngineer to join our Systems Engineering team at our offices in the Berry Hill area of Nashville, TN. The Enterprise Engineer providesproject and business support for core infrastructure systems. Youwill design, configure, test, implement, and support system enhancements, optimization and ongoing maintenance of the operational systems products thatare critical to our facility customer business customer community. The Enterprise Engineer will be the mainpoint of contact in the integration between and support of various enterpriseinfrastructure systems.
The Enterprise Engineer will be responsiblefor managing all enterprise systems, responding to and correcting problems withenterprise systems and preventive action to identify issues that may develop inthe environment, documenting those issues, developing a solution plan and ultimatelyleading the solution's implementation. This individual may also be called upon to lead small to medium projectsincluding project plan development.
Workswith clients, and employees, tocapture technology business requirements and implements thoserequirements.
Identifiesnecessary vendor patches and upgrades; presents such upgrades to management andchange control, and successfully plans, communicates and executes such upgrades.
Acknowledgesand implements best practices for tuning, performance and functionaladministration of enterprise technologies.
Makesrecommendations for procurement, end of life, and upgrade of enterprisetechnologies.
Ensuresavailability of supported technology.
Manifeststhe department's commitment to positive, friendly and competent customersupport. Maintains relationships withcustomer departments and ensures all support is provided in the context ofassisting application users succeed in their business goals.
Managesproblem or request tickets from users and closes the loop on support issues toensure a positive user experience.
Followsthe program management methodology and works collaboratively with allteam members.
DomesticU.S. Travel may be required.
Associate'sdegree, from an accredited institution in Computer Science or other relatedfield
Threeyears of related experience in Systems Engineering
Additionalexperience in a related field may be substituted for the educationalrequirement on a year-for-year basis.
Requiresproficiency in one or more of these areas; Intel-based server systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policymanagement, Microsoft Exchange Server, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft OperationsManager, Microsoft Systems Center, VMWare ESX, LDAP, and various systemreporting tools.
Strongknowledge of systems development and production life cycle stages, knowledge ofbusiness processes and its integration with IT.
Mustbe able to participate in an 'on call' rotation 24x7.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications
Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
6+years recent Systems Engineering experience within an Enterprise levelenvironment
MCSE certification or related credential
Strong OS deployment and task sequences experience
Application package deployment
Advanced PowerShell scripting
Patch methodology / phase testing
SCCM Current Branch
Windows Server 2012R2, 2016
Understanding of VMWare, networking, and security
Participate in quarterly maintenance windows
Must have strong customer service skills
