Our client, a Hospital system in the NJ/Philly area, is seeking your HL7 and JAVA focused Integration / Interface Developer expertise.

Duration is 10-14 months.

Required Experience:

Java CAPS or JAVA development experience alternate integration tools will be considered

Substantial experience with HL7 file transfer formats

Substantial healthcare interface development experience

Experience in designing many to many interface relationships

OS UNIX level knowledge for scripting, CRON, etc.

Primary programming languages (and related specifications) in use are Cold Fusion, JavaScript (including the Document Object Model), SQL, and HTML

Secondary programming languages (and related specifications) in use (expected to be known at 1 level below primary) are Java, AJAX, Oracle PL-SQL, CSS, and Apache mod_rewrite

Your Duties:

Install, test, maintain, document and provide technical support for systems software and to modify existing and create new systems software.

Create or modify simple to moderately complex code to meet specific user requirements.

Assist with project planning, evaluation and/or installation, testing and support.

Prepare conversion plans for moderate level application implementations.

Identify conversion issues and mappings for converting data from one vendor application to another.

Prepare unit and system test data to meet predefined requirements and conducts testing.

Gather and document business process requirements for system integration, including data mapping, data flows, and required data transformations

Review and evaluation of integration methods, standards and formats for specific financial and clinical applications

Develop and maintain simple to moderately complex HL7 interface components between clinical and financial systems utilizing Java CAPS Enterprise Suite, based on the designs developed by senior team members or individually developed designs approved by senior team members.

Creation and maintenance of batch scheduled data transfer procedures (FTPs, encryptions, etc).

Complete SDLC process responsibilities for documentation, testing, migration, validation and support. Responsible to learn and apply Industry best practices for data integration.
