Our client is seeking a SAP Project Lead FI/CO is responsible for leading the implementation of system and process solutions within the SAP FI/CO application area through collaboration, direct contribution, and project facilitation. The SAP Project Lead FI/CO coordinates and constructs system solutions and ensures adherence to business need, timelines, and shared system architecture. The SAP Project Lead FI/CO holds ultimate responsibility for driving successful implementation of system and process solutions within the defined application area. Additionally, the SAP Project Lead FI/CO is responsible for sustaining system support within the application area. By fielding tickets, performing critical analysis and investigation, and provisioning or providing resolution, the SAP Project Lead FI/CO ensures excellent customer service. The SAP Project Lead FI/CO reports to the Senior Applications Delivery Manager. The SAP Project Lead FI/CO will work in a matrix organization and may contribute to projects and support for other brands. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with peers and business constituents. Occasional travel may be required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Project/New Functionality DeliveryBusiness requirements collection, analysis, and characterization, including initial resource type identification and rough-cut effort estimation. Solution design and scope definition, including prototype work and iterative conceptual modeling. Coordination of resources, sponsors, and stakeholders for solution delivery. Active project facilitation and coordination of project team resources to deliver agreed functionality on-time and within shared system architecture. Collaboration with business team and proactive engagement to solicit feedback and encourage business participation and engagement in solution delivery. Leadership of solution construction through direct effort and coordination of contributing resources. Project facilitation and oversight to ensure adherence to schedule and business need. Communication of project status, action items, and issues to team and stakeholders.Escalation of significant issues and impactful decisions to steering committee or business sponsors. Coordination of testing and training activities through direct contribution or collaboration with other project resources. Direct coordination of stabilization activities leading to a hand-over to regular support.Support/Sustaining Work Active support of application area through provision of ticket/problem resolutionPerforms other duties as assigned Experience and Skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE requirements Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered. Education: Bachelor s Degree preferred Relevant professional organization certification a plus (APICS, CSCMP, AICPA, etc.)Project Management Professional certification preferred Experience and Skills: A minimum of 8 years of relevant hands-on configuration and process knowledge experience in SAP FI/CO and complementary software including: FI-GL General Ledger Accounting (Classical Ledger Approach)FI-AP Accounts PayableFI-AR Accounts ReceivableFI-AA Asset AccountingTax Accounting, Bank Accounting, Intercompany AccountingEBS Electronic Bank StatementTreasury Report Painter and Report Writer Experience with banking interfaces (wire, ACH, Lockbox, checks)CO-OM Overhead Cost Management including CCA and OPA (IO)CO-PC Product CostingMake-to-stock Production Costing Experience Make-to-order Sales Order Costing Experience Variant Configuration Integration KnowledgeCO-PA Profitability Analysis including CO-PA reportingEC-PCA Enterprise Controlling, Profit Center AccountingSAP-BPC Business Planning and Consolidation Experience with secure payment processing tools a plus Experience with tax automation software a plus ABAP Query experience a plus Demonstrated SAP and ancillary software implementation experience in the area of requirements gathering, technical and functional design specification, solution construction, project facilitation, and knowledge transfer. Project management skills, including ability to organize, prioritize, assign, and complete work. Ability to build, distribute, and actively monitor basic project plans.Ability to effectively leverage collaboration tools for project transparency and status. Effective negotiator and communicator. Persistent drive to achieve business goals and adapt to changing circumstances. Ability to coordinate team resources to achieve documented business goals through system solution delivery. Cross-functional knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 (or higher) applications ( MM, PP, LE, and SD) with emphasis on the following: MM-Purchasing (PPV, conditions, account assignment)PP-SFC (Manufacturing master data, variance calculation, settlement, production order costing )SD-SalesVC-Make-to-order Experience using core business applications like Microsoft Office. Proficiency with Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) software and collaboration tools preferred. Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills required.
