What This Position Is All About:

The Senior Manager Operations is accountable for the supervision anddirection of front-line employees in operations supportroles. The manager will work closely with both the IT Operations Shift Managersand the Senior Director, Data Center Operations in the development andmaintenance of employee scheduling, performance metrics, and quality assuranceprocesses. This individual will provide guidance and direction as we modernizeour environment.


This individual will provide direction and manage theproduction/operations staff and is accountable for the performance and resultsof the team. This individual will become actively involved in daily operationswhen required to meet schedules or to resolve complex problems.

You Also Have:

•         10 years of experience and Bachelor'sdegree in computer science or a related field

•         Knowledge of technology SLA's as wellas technology governance, risk, and compliance

•         Strong interpersonal skills, includingcollaboration and analytical thinking

•         Ability to define problems areas andrecommend possible solutions

•         Be available to be contacted off-shiftas needed

•         Infrastructure support and managementexperience in Mainframe, distributed systems, network, and storage

•         Extensive experience with MicrosoftOffice Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred

•         5+ years of experience working with anIT Infrastructure aligned with the business

•         3+ years of experience providing first-levelsupport for enterprise IT systems in a corporate setting, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents

•         3+ years of experience in softwareinstallation and support

•         2+ years of experience writing ITtechnical documentation

•         2+ years of work experience requiringinteraction with senior leadership


As the Senior Manager Operations, You Will:

•         Provide directions and manageproduction/operations staff

•         Accountable for the performance and theresults of the team

•         Adapt departmental plans and prioritiesto address resource and operational changes

•         Ensure projects are completed onschedule and within budget

•         Become actively involved in dailyoperations when required to meet schedules or to resolve complex problems

•         Provide guidance and direction as wemodernize our environment

•         Ensure the teams have the necessarytools, including SOPs

•         Interpret and execute policies andprocedures that affect the area

•         Conduct performance reviews with theteams

•         Drive culture improvements with theteams, utilizing recognition tools to recognize and reward behavior thatimproves the individual and the team; identify career paths and improvementsfor the teams



22. Must Haves: 1) B.S. in computer science or a related field AND 10 years of experience 2) 5 years working with an IT Infrastructure aligned with the business 3) 3 years providing first-level support for enterprise IT systems in a corporate setting 4) 3 years in software installation and support 5) 2 years writing IT technical documentation 6) Infrastructure support and management experience in Mainframe, distributed systems, network, and storage 7) Available to be contacted off-shift as needed
